COMPUTER ADMIN TRAINING

When Virginia Tech IT sought to improve security compliance through new administrator access standards, initial training fell short with users. To drive adoption, I partnered with stakeholders to create an engaging interactive self-paced online module explaining the need for enhanced access controls. The training combined audio narration, videos, animation, and knowledge checks to walk learners through requesting administrative rights under the new policy and security awareness. Real-world examples, security officer interviews, and short interactive breaks enabled users to easily digest the information.

Learner feedback praised the simplified and visualization-focused approach. Pass rates for the integrated assessments exceeded 95% within two months of launch. The training became a model for future eLearning builds.
